Iranian airline Mahan Air has inaugurated its first direct flight from Tehran to the Belarusian capital, Minsk. 

The flight, which came about on Tuesday (April 18), carried Deputy International Minister for Consular, Parliamentary, and Iranian Expatriates Affairs Alireza Bigdeli together with some members of the Mahan Air crew.

The transfer follows a current go to of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Iran, throughout which the leaders of the 2 nations emphasised the necessity to pursue mutual agreements.

Bigdeli and the Mahan Air group will maintain discussions with Belarusian officers on persevering with direct flights and visa facilitation for each nations.
