Flags throughout Arizona needs to be flown at half-staff from dawn to sundown on Monday, Could 1, to mark Arizona Peace Officers Memorial Day, Gov. Katie Hobbs ordered.

“Immediately, we honor and mourn the lack of Arizona’s Peace Officers who within the final 12 months have made the final word sacrifice,” Hobbs stated in an announcement launched by state officers. “Our regulation enforcement professionals put their lives on the road on a regular basis to maintain us secure and their dedication to service can have an enduring affect on all the state. My honest condolences to the households of those fallen heroes, your family members won’t ever be forgotten.”
